|
Dear Resident. What has happened? Between 8.30pm on the 14th, and 06.30am on the 15th of November 2025 unknown offenders have gained access to the rear of a property in Duncumb Road, Sutton Coldfield. They have then gained entry to the property by levering of the lock to the back door. Once inside they have taken car keys , and then made good their escape in a white Nissan motor vehicle that had been parked at the property. What are we doing? Officers have attended the location, house to house enquires were conducted. Forensic examiners have been called, they attended to conduct an examination, they have also taken the damaged lock for further examination to attempt to look for evidence to help identify the offender(s). What can you do? Please ensure all access points to your property are secure, check rear gates and fences, and lock gates when not in use. We recommend the fitting of Anti snap locks to all entrance doors. More information about these locks can be found by visiting: //www.locksmiths.co.uk For general crime prevention advice please visit www.westmidlands.police.uk
